Device name HP  DESKTOP- 19
Processor Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1800 @ 2.41GHz 2.41 GHz Installed RAM 4.00 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
I ordered 8 GB chip to replace my 4GB. When I opened it up to see what I need there was a black slot being used and a empty white slot not being used. I The white slot was marked 1.5v DDR3 REV. I tried sticking the 4gb chip being used in the black slot into the white slot and it wouldn't fit. The pins were correct, but it wouldn't sink far enough to snap in. Plus, the chip in the black was a pcc3L chip so I don't think its 1.5 volt. My question is, what is the white slot for ? and what kind of chip would it take. I did notice it said card reader right next to it. But these slots are clearly different.
