I have Hp 15 series laptop with 8GB ram and 1 TB HDD.with windows 11

The problem is amazing facing 100% disk active time, my laptop freezes almost everytime my home screen goes black even my keyboard commands take 2 to 3 min to execute and my touchpad also freezes....am not able to do anything

What is your machine ? Most likely the problem is machine has small amount of RAM and slow HDD that why apps have to swap/page out and HDD spins to dead itself.

 

I don't know your machine BUT

 

1. Adding more RAM to reduce paging/swapping process,

2. Replace slow HDD with a faster drive such as SSD,

 

You can upgrade RAM first then upgrade HDD later or you can do BOTH at the same time.
