Hey community,

I have a Pavilion Desktop 590-p0564ng and the CPU fan sadly broke. The standard AMD4 fan doesn't fit (seems to be too wide) on the sunflower Mainboard and now I don't know what iam supposed to buy. The case seems pretty cramped in general already. Can anybody give me advice?

Try a google search for Pavilion Desktop 590-p0564ng heatsink.   That might get you closer to an answer.

 

Can you see the label on the fan with the case open?  If so take a cell phone pic and post it here so we can see the codes.

 

Fans blow towards the side that has the label on the inner "hub" of the fan.  Thus if you don't see a label it likely is hidden because the fan is blowing inwards towards the heatsink fins.  If that is the case can you unscrew it from the heatsink and take a pic of the label and post it here?

 

Often HP fans have a part number on that label... and the same fan may be used in many of their workstations/business class PCs.
