HP Pavilion Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 800
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, I have recently brought this keyboard (HP Pavilion Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 800) and since I started using it the F keys are inverted.

For Example: Instead of having the F2 key as the default option when I press it, it is using the Volume Up function instead. I have tried toggling the Fn key on the keyboard but it doesn't do anything.

I use the F keys when navigating and running VBA code, so having to hold the Fn key every time I was to press F5/F8 is infuriating.

Any help would be much appreciated!

@Dan1712 , welcome to the forum.

The latest keyboards from HP are considered to be Multi-media.  For this reason, they make the F keys default to the media functions.  You may be able to find a third-party app that will allow you to make the change.  However, I haven't heard of one myself.

Thanks for your response.

After looking on YouTube I believe there was an option in Windows 7 to change the keyboard multimedia setup but I cant find a suitable solution for Windows 10. I hadn't considered looking at third part apps though so Ill keep looking.

Cheers
