I don't have a specific GPU in mind yet, but I will make sure that it will be within the manufacturers PSU recommendation. Most will probably require a 6 or 8-pin power supply. My current PSU is 310W and has a spare 6-pin connector. I need to upgrade to the HP LO5757-800 500W PSU to accommodate the new GPU power needs and hope that the new PSU also has a spare 6-pin connector. Any recommendations, suggestions or issues I might encounter is much appreciated. Thanks

Can confirm that you are correct: the 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800 you referenced is indeed compatible with the HP Envy 795 series. This power supply is equipped with one 8-pin and one 6-pin PCIe power supply cables.
Kind Regards,

Thanks,
The reason for the PSU upgrade, although not necessary, is to explore the possibility of upgrading my GPU to the utmost within the limits of the LO5757-800. I'm wondering if somebody in the community had success doing this.
