New all in one computer won’t recognize my old printer HP F4240

Your printer is USB only.  It is old and the drivers are missing from the HP site exactly like my Deskjet J4680.

Try the following drivers:  https://printerdrivers.com/hp-deskjet-f4240-driver/

I got my J4680 drivers from them also.

If you have the original DVD and it has drivers for windows 7x64 then use the DVD instead

Make sure you use a USB2 port if available.  You did not list your computer model.
