Gpu for HP Pavilion 590-p0024

curious if anyone could recommend a gpu that would be 4gb, reasonably priced and 1. Fit in this small case and 2. Not kill my 180w power supply and have 2 HDMI connectors??!?

@AJY0801 , welcome to the forum.

No video card will kill your 180W power supply unit (PSU).  It will simply not work.  All of the new video cards require at least 300W to 400W to operate properly.  You will have to upgrade the PSU to run a newer video card.  The motherboard (Sunflower) in your computer is proprietary.  Therefore, you have to buy a PSU that is provided by HP.  Here is a Power Supply Cross-Reference guide to help you find one that will work with your motherboard:  https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...

The one that will work is a 500W, Part # L05757-800.

It only requires 400W to operate properly.  So, it will work with the 500W PSU that I recommended.  It requires a 1 x 6-pin PCIe power connector which the PSU has, as well.

I know that the video card is a bit expensive, but to find 2 x HDMI ports this is what it will cost.  Most of the cards have 1 x HDMI and 3 x DisplayPort connectors.  If you don't want to buy the card it will be a good example of what will work.

Ok..  well I’m done then.. lol..  I’ll just keep saving until I can build my own ..  no worries..  I’ve got a pretty sweet set up picked out through pcppartpicker..  the tinkering and building bug has got me now 🤪

I hear what you are saying.  While I buy HP computers, I still like to build my own.  There is a deep feeling of accomplishment when you get done.  My last computer is the Custom Build in my Signature.  I built it a year ago with the best, of the best, components at the time.  Good luck!
