Hi, I have an HP Z2 G4, with an i7-8700K, 500W 80 plus gold power supply, 1 512GB nvme SSD and 1 normal 1TB SSD.
I wanted to put a 6gb GTX 1660, I saw that a 450W power supply should be enough, can I buy it or the computer with the power supply it has does not support it and therefore I am forced to change the power supply too?

You do not need to buy a new PSU.
What model of the Z2 G4? Mini, SFF, or tower. That would be the issue, for the card to fit.
HP Envy 8 5010 Tablet
(2) HP DV7t i7 3160QM 2.3Ghz 8GB
Printer -- HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 Legal
Custom Asus Z97D, I7-4790k, 16GB RAM, WIN10 Pro 64bit, ZOTAC GTX1080 AMP Extreme 3 fan 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD, Asus PB287 4k monitor, Rosewill Blackhawk case and 750W OCZ PSU.
