Product: HP ELITEDESK 800 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a GTX 460 geforce on my HP ELITEDESK 800 G1.

I update the bios.

I update all my drivers.

All peripherals have been verified for update.

My systeme is a 8mb RAM with I7 4770.

Windows pro 64bits.

I tried to installed NVIDIA software to detec my graphic card and not able to detect.

Graphic card fan running but not detected by Windows.

Please Help.

@Frenchie50 , welcome to the forum.

 

Is your computer the Tower, Ultra-Slim, Desktop-mini or Small Form Factor?  Who is the manufacturer of the video card?  A link to it would be helpful.

My computer was a SFF, now i build a bench to install it for gaming.

Video card EVGA GTX 460 geforce https://www.evga.com/products/specs/gpu.aspx?pn=1BB4461B-D8CB-4FEB-98C2-F3097FEC130E

Thank you for the additional information, @Frenchie50!

 

The card in your link requires a minimum of 450W to operate properly.  If you are using the original PSU it is only 320W.  This is not enough to run the card.
