HP ENVY Desktop TE01-3147c

Is it possible to upgrade the graphics card on my Envy TE01-3147c PC? Specifically, I wish to know if I would have enough power or space to support the graphics card? If not, would it be possible to upgrade any of these factors (to the extent that it would be cheaper than buying a new PC)? Thanks.

I'm unsure of whether or not any of this information will be useful, but (according to the listed product specification from the HP Web Product Detection):

Form factor: Minitower

Minimum dimensions: (W x D x H): 6.12 x 11.97 x 13.28 in

Package dimension: (W x D x H): 19.65 x 15.75 x 11.3 in

Expansion slots: 2 M.2 (1 for SSD, 1 for WLAN); 1 PCIe x16; 1 PCIe x1

Power supply type: 310 W 80 Plus Gold certified power supply

@SilentzYo,

The power supply of your HP Envy TE01-3147c Minitower as fitted with the Reno motherboard (SSID: 89B5) can be upgraded with these power supplies:

1.) 400-watt unit with part number: L04618-800 (New 400W Power Supply 942332-001 PSU For HP 280 288 285 480 600 680 800 G3 G4 US | eBay)

2.) 500-watt unit with part number: L05757-800 (PSU Power Supply Unit For HP PSU 500W Envy 795-0003UR Desktop- L05757-800 US | eBay)

Either power supply can easily be purchased online, such as via eBay as referenced above.

With a 400-watt power supply, I would recommend a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 4060 model powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable such as this competitively priced Amazon purchase example: Amazon.com: PNY GeForce RTX™ 4060 8GB Verto™ Dual Fan Graphics Card DLSS 3 (128-bit, PCIe 4.0, GDDR6....

With a 500-watt power supply, I would recommend a smaller-sized (two fan) RTX 4060 Ti model powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable such as this also competitively priced Amazon purchase example: Amazon.com: PNY GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti 8GB Verto™ Dual Fan Graphics Card DLSS 3 (128-bit, PCIe 4.0, GD....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
