Hi,
The 1660 requires a minimum 450 watt power supply and one supplemental eight pin PCIe connection.
Does your current PSU meet the above requirements?
Will the 1660 fit in your case?
A yes to all of the above should result in a good graphics card upgrade experience.
You know you may have a Secure boot issue (Link).
You must disable Secure boot and enable Legacy support in the BIOS when installing new hardware.
You have a 1050 now. You must have done the Secure boot thing before.
Give a Kudos if I have made you happy.
Give a solution if I have solved your problem.

Greetings,
Welcome back to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
You are good to go if the new Nvidia card fits in the case.
The existing power supply should provide the required minimum watts needed to power the card and must have the required supplemental PCIe connectors.
