HP Compaq dc7700 Ultra-slim Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi all, have this pc laying around and want to get it back up & running.. it has xp in it right now, Im going to change it over to windows 7 pro, since I have had this extra 7 pro laying around a long time, never used it, I just did the same upgrade  on my old compaq 7700 cmt, and it would not work the old VGA bubble back monitor, screen was all black, had to install a old Graphic's card I had, then it worked great.. Im thinking Im going to have the same problem with this up grade.. question is.. which Graphics card would you suggest to fit in the Slim 7700?? it will only need to run a bubbleback monitor, old one,it will be used to just surf the net,no games

@boatmoter , welcome back to the forum.

Here is the Illustrated Parts and Service Map for the computer.  Below are the only video cards that are listed for the motherboard:

ATI Radeon X1300 PCIE graphics, 256 MB, LP413023-001

*Nvidea NVS280 graphics, 64 MB, LP398686-005

They are older, but here is one of the cards listed on ebay.  I didn't check the other card to see if it was available.
