Hi would it be possible to run a Ryzen 7 2700 or a 2700x in a hp 854582-001 motherboard, socket AM4 and B350 Chipset are compatible, does the board have a whitelist? And with the 2700x would it run a 95w processor..?
Kind rgds

Hi Wb2001
Thanks for the reply, I've got a hp 800 G2 SFF thinking about upgrading to Ryzen using 705 bits..... There are G3 705 SFF for sale online with 2nd gen Ryzen 5 & 7 PRO 65w CPUs & the G4 705 SFF,c although a different motherboard comes with the 2700X 105w cpu... And uses the same B350FCH Chipset & 180w PSU.
My plan was to get a 705 G3 SFF motherboard (listed above) and put a Ryzen 2700 in, would you know if there is a bios whitelist that wouldn't allow this?
