Good morning, sorry if I can't use the right words, i'm not a good writer.
I have recently upgraded my ''HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 790-0115no'' ram. I used to have 1 single stick of 8gb 2666mhz and I upgraded to 2x8 3200mhz ram but i'm capped at 2133mhz and I can't change my memory speed because my HP Bios does not show me ''Memory Settings'' tab. So my question is, is there a HP Bios version that unlocks Memory tab or a Software/USB stick with configuration that allows me to do so?

Hello
your motherboard is indicated supporting this
- Dual channel (2 DIMMs per channel) memory architecture
- Four DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
- Supports PC4-21300 (DDR4-2666)
- Supports 4 GB and 8 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
- Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory. - Supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) and 64GB unbuffered (with 16GB DIMMs) on 64-bit computers.
Bios, on HP computers, are generally not designed for this type of change.
Using alternative solutions (software), may render the computer unusable, and no guarantee that it will work

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1305nd. HP Support has told me that they have informed the back-end team of the issue and hopefully will release a fix for the XMP profile 2.0 soon through a BIOS update. Presently at the moment nothing can be done to get this activated.

Ok, but you're talking about a whole different kind of computer

The HP back-end team will probably look into other models to enable the XMP 2.0 profile in the BIOS. Of course you need memory who supports the XMP 2.0 profile. You can use cpu-z to check the SPD information of the memory.

I find it curious that this is applied for all models !!
