Cool man! That should be a fun little computer when it's done!
Question though, did you already order your psu? I tried using a cx430m from Corsair, and while it's a great psu, it just wasn't having anything to do with being adapted to work with these HPs. I don't know if a cx500 would be any different, and who knows, it might work fine, but if I were you I would maybe check out a different psu.
