Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I'm running on an HP Compaq Pro 6300 Small Form Factor (SFF) and I can't find the Integrated Graphics option in my BIOS

The information about my computer:

OS                               - Microsoft Windows 10 Home

Version                      - 10.0.18363 Build 18363

System Model         - HP Compaq Pro 6300 SFF

System Type            - x64-based PC

BIOS Version/Date  - Hewlett-Packard K01 v02.83, 10/29/2012

I was looking for a solution but couldn't find one, I figured I would update the BIOS to 2.99 then to 3.x.x but HP couldn't find any

Here's a screenshot of the page:

If anyone can help me with this, I would be so grateful.

That circa fall 2012 unit was issued with  WIN 7 or WIN 8.1 , as explained by this document.    There will be "NO" available BIOS updates, as you have WIN 10. That locked the BIOS to whatever you currently have.  Use this to determine the Boot Environment, then report back.  What is your reason for this inquiry?

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Hi, @GJTHEDJ55

You would find the available BIOS updates on the W8.1 section of the driver support page.

How you update the BIOS when you are not running a supported operating system...

If you want to update to v3.08, and you are not at v2.99, then first download v.2.99.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73001-73500/sp73099.exe

When you run the exe file, an information page will open.

Follow the instructions to update the BIOS using the F10 Setup BIOS flashing option.

That way, you are not in Windows when you update the BIOS, and it is the easiest and safest way to do it.

Get a USB flash drive.  Format it with the FAT32 file system.

Copy the file contents of the DOS flash folder to your USB flash drive.  Just the files, not the folder.

The DOS flash folder is accessed by clicking on the blue View Contents of DOS flash folder found at the bottom of the F10 setup instruction section of the information page that opens.

After you copy the BIOS update files to the USB flash drive, restart the PC.  Tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

Select the F10 setup option from the menu and press the enter key.

Select the File tab>Flash system ROM command.  Select the USB flash drive.

The PC will 'see' the files on the flash drive.  Follow the instructions to update the BIOS.

Then repeat the same process with the 3.xx BIOS update you want to update to.

This is the latest one for your PC.  3.08.

What I don't understand is your not being able to find the integrated Graphics option in the BIOS.

If you look at the service manual, chapter 3, page 23, you will find the setting location...

The integrated video is automatically disabled when you install a video card, and you should not have to disable it in the BIOS.
