In case anyone is looking for a video card to expand beyond just two monitors and does not want to upgrade power supply look at that ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 Graphics Card (PCIe 2.0, 2GB GDDR5 Memory, 4X HDMI Ports, Single-Slot Design, Passive Cooling). With Passive Cooling no need for power. I have been using it for a few weeks and so far no heat issues. I hope this helps someone.

I have gone through your post and would like to help

 

As per the Service Guide, the Notebook not listed for the upgrade of the graphic card. the combination is not tested by HP. So, the functionality is not guaranteed.
