Your link is dead. Its specs

              https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06687603

It has 8 GB DDR4-2933 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now. You can add SAME 8GB to slot 2 or upgrade to 32GB (2 x 16GB) using the following RAM (will run at 3000MHz):

            https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4dfd832a/ct19021427

You can add 16GB to slot 2 to have  24GB but machine probably won't run dual channels.

Regards.

@zantra -- before you spend any money, open and use your usual programs, and then use CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open the Windows Task Manager. Switch to its "Performance" tab. Look at the RAM section.  If your computer is not currently using more than 6GB of the RAM, you have 2 GB of RAM that you are not currently using. Adding more RAM would only increase the amount of "unused" RAM - a waste of your money.

hey I have the same computer . with the baker motherboard 8767. I have a question for you, how did you get your ram to run higher then 2133. On my computer I have 2*8gb 3200 ram and my computer still runs at 2133. I cant find anything in bios, did you have to change to a new bios or do something else ? please let me know

@Pgoujon -- where are you observing that speed?

When you power-on your computer, the motherboard queries the various speeds supported by the current RAM.

Most RAM offers multiple speeds, namely the rated speed, and slower speeds, to be compatble with  motherboards that have slower clocks.

Example:

JEDEC #1
Frequency 444.4 MHz
CAS# Latency 6.0
RAS# To CAS# 6
RAS# Precharge 6
tRAS 16
tRC 23
Voltage 1.500 V

JEDEC #2
Frequency 592.6 MHz
CAS# Latency 8.0
RAS# To CAS# 8
RAS# Precharge 8
tRAS 22
tRC 30
Voltage 1.500 V

JEDEC #3
Frequency 666.7 MHz
CAS# Latency 9.0
RAS# To CAS# 9
RAS# Precharge 9
tRAS 24
tRC 34
Voltage 1.500 V

The motherboard selects from the available settings offered by the RAM, to match its own clocking.

So, are you measuring the clocking done by the motherboard, or the maximum clocking supported by your RAM?
