HP Elite Desk 800 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Experts,

I need to ask if I can use  Patriot Sector 5 RAM MODEL No. PGV38G1600ELK RAM in my HP Elite Desk 800 G1.

I am already using 2 x 4GB=8GB of single channel memory. Can I add this RAM to increase the ram to 16GB.

You can check the below link for this RAM (Patriot G series ‘Sector 5’ Edition 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model PGV38G1600ELK):

Specification:
Capacity– 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Speed– 1600MHz
Timing– 9-9-9-24
Voltage– 1.65v

If there is any changes required to do in BIOS to get it done.? Kindly advice.

@AMA-UAE,

NO, the voltage is wrong.

Find the part number for the existing RAM. The same manufacturer and specs.  Either that, or you purchase all "new" RAM so that their a matching pairs in all slots.
