Wanted to play around with mini form factor and got a G4 800 mini and then purchased rx560 oem and added in.

Currently my thoughts are my power supply is not powerful enough or I do not have the add in card grounded correctly.

I get 2 beeps and 2 flashes of red light then it goes to white light with no display.

Without the card machine works and boots fine. With card it gets described above.

Just wanted to come here and ask if anyone has experienced before.

Definitely a waste of time and money I understand that, just have a passion for nonsense and would like to get it working for my sister in college.

Thanks,

Josh

@ResslerJ,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

When you add an AMD Radeon RX560 4 GB GDDR5 discrete graphics card, you likely need to upgrade your power supply with the 150-watt option, especially if your current power supply is the 65-watt model.

Can be purchased here, for example: 150W HP EliteDesk 705 800 G4 Desktop Mini Business PC MD power supply ac adapter | eBay.

The error code you described suggests that there is something else going on, though:

Hey I just did the same thing and bought the RX560. Got no power to the unit when plugged in, does your motherboard have a piece right here? (See image) mine does not but it looks like the card needs to plug into something right here. Any help would be appreciated
