Attempting to install a Video card into my computer Video Card is a MSI Radeon Hawk R9 270X.  Card fits, fires up all LEDs and fans working, but have a black screen on all input sources to my TV/Monitor.  This only occurs with the card plugged into the power supply.  I am at a loss as to whats going on, never dealt with computers too much in this kind of technical aspect.

@NDGal1981,

Thank you for the links.  Did you actually read your links?   You only have a 460W max PSU

That card requires a min 500W PSU with two PCIE 6 pin power leads.  Suggest you get a Corsair CX600.  After you get the new PSU, you still might have to disable Secure Boot.   But you need to have a stable machine (without that card) to change that setting.

Thank you for the response.  The card was a gift and being a bit of a gamer I was quick on the gun to try to get it in without fully looking at specs.  I just knew my case and card would fit it and had a PCI-e slot, didnt realize or dawn on me that my PSU was just under par for it.  I will be planning on upgrading the PSU.

P.S. I have had many HP Products over time and love their durability.  Keep up the good work.
