HP ENVY 700-230qe CTO Desktop PC

I need to replace the SD Drive.  I have opened the computer, removed the DVD drive and now I am stuck in removing the DVD bracket that hold the DVD. It should be able to be removed by sliding and pulling up (there are no screws) but it is stuck.

Here is the manual for that PC

page 10 shows the procedure.  Hope that helps.

Thank you but I have an HP Envy 700-230. The case is completely different. Anyway, I was able to remove the bracket that holds the DVD drive. There was a piece of metal that was protruding inside the hole for the screw.

I searched the HP website but I cannot find an "Upgrading and Servicing manual for my computer.

This is interesting as I copied the model number posted in the original post

HP ENVY 700-230qe CTO Desktop PC and the manual I posted a link to is for that model.

Even if I change the model number to the HP ENVY 700-230 Desktop PC, it still comes up as the same manual

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/setup-user-guides/hp-envy-700-200-desktop-pc-series/model/65298...

Is that what the PC looks like?  The Upgrading and service guide is still the same.

I am at a loss as to what is going on.
