I was just using my HP Envy x360 computer today. I've been extra careful with this computer since I bought it around a year ago and I really enjoy using it. I shut my computer off, and left for about two hours. When I came back, the left hinge of the screen was open, and showing all the screws which look like they've been glued together loosely. The screen is starting to peel back, and I'm nervous about using it anymore in fear of the whole screen popping off. I looked into this on google, and this seems to be a problem many people have. Why hasn't anyone done anything about this issue? My warranty expired a year ago, but I feel like since so many people are having this problem with the hinge, HP should fix this regardless. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

You might want to read the following discussion
Please go here

and put in your product ID or serial number and look for the hinge part
I made a guess just to test out (do not use my guess)
https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=10M46UAR&searchby=product
there are two "hinge" listed. and the ID for the "KIT" is
the hp parts store has that part # L93205-001
I also found that part, HP L93205-001, at ebay for a slightly better price
I have no idea if that part fits your system as you need to use your product ID or serial number and look up the parts list here
