Guten Tag zusammen!

 

Leider habe ich ein Problem mit einem BIOS Update welches über Windowsupdate (Win11 pro) am 24.10.2022 aufgespielt wurde.

Das BIOS-Updat ist in Dauerschleife mit dieser Meldung:

„Bios-Imagedatei kann nicht geöffnet werden“

 

Komme nicht ins UEFI oder sonstiges. Der Rechner, M01-F1046ng, geht bei Start/ Neustart immer in diese Dauerschleife. 

 

Nun habe ich bereits sämtliche Tipps hier von HP und verschiedenen Foren ausprobiert um das BIOS zu resetten oder auch neu aufzuspielen. Nichts hat geholfen, immer noch Dauerschleife.

 

Ein COMOS-Reset per Jumper stellt sich als schwierig dar, da die Beschriftung auf dem Bord nicht eindeutig ist. Hierzu habe ich probiert das Handbuch fürs Board zu finden, leider Fehlanzeige. Und den BIOS-Chip kann ich auch nicht ausmachen um zu sehen ob er einfach auswechselbar ist, also ob gesteckt oder gelötet.

 

Daher nun meine drei Fragestellungen:

 

  1. Gibt es noch eine spezielle Lösung für dies BIOS-Update-Problem?
  2. Woher bekomme ich das Handbuch für diese Hauptplatine.
  3. Ist der BIOS-Chip gelötet oder gesteckt?

Recover the BIOS using a USB recovery drive

Hello Prométhée !

 

Thanks for the tip, I had already tried all of these options.

The BIOS update was also read in via USB stick, but then the message came back

"Cannot open BIOS image file"

 

…. somehow the computer (the BIOS) is stuck in this loop.
