HP M01-F1046ng - RAM is running on 2166 Mhz + GPU only 512 MB?

Hi all,

I bought my father a small computer (HP M01-F1046ng) so he can surfe trough the web and play some old games.

I installed Windows 10 on the system. Currently I have two questions:

1. According to the product details the RAM should run with 3200 MHz, but it shows up with 2166 Mhz only. Normally I would just change this inside the BIOS, but HP has locked this option. What can I do to solve this issue?

2. The GPU is only showing 512MB dedicated GPU-Memory. If I understand this correctly the Memory should increase automatically if I need more, right?

I've not seen this increasing in Games like Anno, Age of Empire, etc., so sometimes it "lags" even the game is very old.

Do I need to change something?

I can't answer your Q1, very strange. It runs AMD Ryzen 3 family namely AMD Ryzen™ 3 4300G (3.8 GHz base clock, up to 4.0 GHz max boost clock, 4 MB L3 cache, 4 cores) and from the following information options to overclock is limited

For Q2. Integrated video (iGPU) does not have room for keep VRAM, it relies on System. System will work this out and allocate/assign spare/available system RAM to VRAM automatically when required up to max limit. System will also take VRAM back when required (the number is dynamic, not fix). During the good old days, we could do this from BIOS but now OS is smarter.

Note: Recently people post Youtube on internet saying they can change using Regedit. Many people try but the results are unpredictable.
