Product: OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 870-244
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Im trying to figure out if the heatsink in the HP Omen 870-244 is aluminum or not. I want to reapply the thermal paste but am unsure of the type of metal the heatsink is.

The heatsink of your HP Desktop PC - 870-244 (Z5M59AA) is 100% aluminum -see picture.

 

According to: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=Z5M59AA&searchby=product, the part number of your desktop's heatsink is 644724-001.
