Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

 

I bought a 4K monitor for my old HP computer. I am trying to find a basic graphics card that will play 4K video. Current graphics is the AMD Radeon 6450, which i read is around 27w max power consumption. The power supply is the standard HP 300watt.

Motherboard is Cleveland GL8

Unfortunately, I have bad news for you

 

There is no basic video card that has enough power to display at 4k resolution.

 

You will need a PC with a powerful processor  and a PSU with at least 450 Watts RMS as well.

Hi Erico

Thank you, here is some information about the PC. I need to upgrade the graphics ,even if i cant get 4k with it, for now i need to be able to stream video through the tv and require dvi and hdmi connections?  What can the computer use ? any non 4k or low powered non 4k cards

An AMD HD 7750 will be about the best you can do.

 

It will work with the installed PSU.
