HP PAVALLION DV6 2153ee RAM NOT WORKING. ( BLUE SCREEN )

Hello guys. I have HP pavallion dv6 2153ee.

And i bought a ram last week. The ram is not faulty. Because i tried it to my cousins laptop and it worked. But it keeps blue screen on my HP pavallion. 

This is what i bought ONLINE. and it says

8GB PC3-10600S 1.5V ( kingston )

MY RAM ON MY LAPTOP IS

2 x 2gb 2rx8 PC3- 10600s ( Samsung ) 

So im just wondering. There is an available ram n the online store same samsung but the only difference is its 4 and 8gb

So my question is will it work?

And 2nd question is why that kingston that i bought didnt worked.

Please need help.

I understand that you are getting a blue screen. 

Please let us know how many rams is installed on your laptop.

I have checked the manual and your product support only 8GB ram.

Please install the old ram and check.

Please perform the memory test.

Memory test  

1) Shutdown the computer.  

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.  

3) Press F2 once.  

4) Go to Component test.  

5) From the list, run the Memory (extensive) test.

Hi sir, oh my! Thank you so much for your response. 

I have 4GB in my laptop

Samsung brand 

2 x 2gb 2rx8 PC3 10600S

And the ram i bought last month was kingston 8GB PC3 10600S BUT IT  didnt worked.

So this time i want to risk again my last money . And i saw the EXACT ram inside my laptop but this time its 4GB. 

THIS IS THE PICTURE that i saw n the internet

Its SAMSUNG 4GB 2rx8 PC3 10600S

Ensure both Memory Ram are of the same frequency 1333Mhz.

Please let us know what is the old ram frequency.

If the both Memory Ram is of the same frequency 1333Mhz.  It will work properly,

my ram n my laptop is

2 x 2gb PC3-10600S ( Samsung )

And my CPU Z says that my frequency is 532.1 Mhz

I am running windows 7 

64bit 

And my question sir is can i buy

Samsung 4gb PC3 - 10600S 1333mhz

Or

Samsung 4gb PC3 - 8500 1066mhz

You can buy Samsung 4gb PC3 - 10600S 1333mhz however, the computer will run at 1066 MHz frequency. If you install two RAMs then 532.1 Mhz each.
