I currently own an HP Pavilion 500-513d.
My question is can i upgrade the PSU to a 500w or a 600w so as to power up a discrete GPU to which i am thinking of this GPU or this GPU. But any recommendations to the GPU is welcome.
And does upgrading the CPU with a 2nd hand i7 4790 safe and worth it?
And lastly, do i need to update the bios?
Thank you very much.

In reverse order. The BIOS is liked to the original OS. No upgrade is possible.
The i7-4790 is worth the change.
The GTX 1650 Super should be powered by the 600W, as it will be more efficient at lower loads.
