Hi,

Is it a product from the US ? Voltage could be the main concern since no information from its specs

       http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04843068

The socket is a minor part, you can use normal tourist adapter or you can bring the cord to any electrical store in your countery and they will supply the right cord for you for around A$5.00.

Or, when order the machine, you can ask them to supply power cord for your country.

Please note: Voltage is the MAIN thing you need to know.

Regards.

Hi,

In the US, they use 110V 60Hz now BEFORE plug to the power outlet in your country you need to check a switch at the back to make sure it can use right voltage in your country.

Ifyou could not find the switch, check the label or you have to open the case and check the power supply unit.

They may switch it for you before shipping to your country BUT, you always need to check voltage first.

Regards.

Hi,

Yes, in the US they use 110V.

  • Nearly all mobile devices (laptops, phones, tablets) can use power from 110V to 240V automatically but
  • Not for desktops that why we have to check. Many power supply for desktops can work from 110V to 240V BUT we have to manually switch.

Regards.
