I just bought some OLOy DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 3200 MHz for my HP Pavilion 690-0020. For some reason, it only sees 16GB total (2x8GB). I've tried putting one 16GB stick at a time and I can't figure out why it doesn't see each stick at 16GB. I've seen several people in this forum 32GB for their HP Pavilion 690-0020. Am I not enabling something correctly?
Only chips certified to operate with an HP machine will work. As OLOy made statements, I suggest you contact their support site. For only $20 more, you could have gotten Crucial RAM, and it would have worked !😁

Thanks! I wanted to follow up on this. I didn't know HP had certified chips and that Crucial was a certified chip. I returned the 32GB of RAM from Oloy and bought the Crucial ones you linked to. My computer sees the 32GB of RAM from Crucial.
