HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0019
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought my PC and my Corel Painter software recommends that I add memory.
I looked that I could expand the memory up to 32 GB.
What type of memory module should I buy? I would like to buy compatible RAM to add to what I have.

I cannot find memory modules on the HP store in Canada.

HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0019

System memory
8GB
Memory location 1
8GB Kingston 2666MHz
Motherboard

Thank you

@Lucila11 , welcome to the forum.

The first thing that you can do is, use CPU-Z to find the current memory manufacturer and timings:  https://download.cnet.com/CPU-Z/3000-2086_4-10050423.html

You can find this information in the Tab titled "SPD".  The motherboard has Dual channel (1 DIMM per channel) memory architecture.  This means that the memory should be installed in matching pairs to get the best performance.  If you can't match the existing memory exactly, it would be best to replace it.

Also, here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory:  https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-tp01-0019

The maximum amount in their information is incorrect.  As you stated, the maximum memory for your motherboard is 32 GB.
