HP Recommended

A few days ago the frame rate on my games (First Ascendant, Valorant) slowed to about three frames per second. I have had this computer for 2 years with no issues. From the tests I have conducted, the internet connection is okay (it's just games that are affected) and the CPU isn't the issue (the temperature isn't rising and there are no problems with the pins).  RAM also appears to be okay — not damaged. I'm uncertain about the GPU. I'm running Windows 11. I just ran the most recent Windows update but it didn't fix the issue. 
Any ideas what the problem is or how I might fix it? Thanks!
