Hello,
I am an IT technician for my school district. Today a client came in today to get updates for Adobe Acrobat. However, that did not happen, as I was unable to even log into the HP Pavilion TP01 my client had.
It seemed like the USB-A ports were rejecting to give power to the keyboard and mouse on the login screen, but the HP Pavilion TP01 towe still was able to display on a monitor. I tried messing with the BIOS and Windows Automatic Repair and was able to get the keyboard and mouse to work in those settings. I even tried System Image Recovery and still nothing.
The HP Pavilion TP01 does have USB-A ports on the front and back of the tower. The ones on the front are soldered to the motherboard and are not on a daughterboard.
My client said that they ran updates on it last night and then shut it down.
Is there anything else that I can try?
Please let me know. Thank you.
