I have had this pc for less than a week.  Today, the fans have been intermittently noisy.  Does this mean I have a problem?

@CornwallChough,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the fan is making a loud noise.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The fan on the computer starts and stops based on the temperature of the CPU and also the speed of the fan increase and decreases accordingly.

However, if the making is making a loud noise then I recommend you update the BIOS and graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
