Product: HP Pavilion p6-2469eo Desktop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can now only see IDT i/f suggesting to connect via HDMI.

I so far always used the jack connectors in the back.

 

Driver upgrade and common stuff have not so far brought music back to me.

Did you try this W10 IDT audio driver?  Install and restart the PC.
