Why is it my HP Desktop freezes at the HP logo when initiating a fresh installation of Windows 10 with either a brand new Crucial MX500 SSD or a brand new Samsung 860 EVO however installs fine using a new Integral V Series 120GB SSD ??
When either the brand new out of the box Crucial or Samsung SSD's are connected to the SATA connection it just freezes at the HP logo and won't display the Startup menu, therefore, unable to access the BIOS.
(No difference either when I removed the Crucial & Samsung SSD and changed the Bios from Secure boot to Legacy Support).
Read a few forums on this with people having the same problem with the Crucial SSD & Samsung EVO SSD but no resolution?
Yet was fine using an Integral V Series SSD !!!

I also have read of the issue. Kingston also works. It is related to a BIOS update, and as we all know, once updated, your stuck with it.
