Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Noob: I tried to install Ryzen 7 3700x chip and it would not boot:  3 beeps then dead. I reset the cmos and got it running again with the oem chip and added 8ghz memory stick. I tried once more with the new chip and original 8ghz and took the added stick and still three long beeps and no go. My bios is set to F-30  SM BIOS VERSION 3.2. What am I missing here? Am Noob but watched a  lot of you tube. It say check bios. What do I do?

@iveyoil , welcome back to the Community.

This is the latest version of the BIOS/UEFI for your motherboard (SSID 8643): https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-pc-tg01-0000a/...

You can check your current BIOS version in System Information (type System Information in the Search box.).  The information that you provided doesn't match the specifications.
