I want ti install in my Z230 PC the nvidia geforce rtx 2070 super what requires more power than the internal power supply of the PC provides (NVIDIA says that a 650W power supply is required).
I found no official supported power supply for the z230 - is this correct?
Can anyone reccomend me what power-supply is compatible with the z230?
I searched a bit and found that maybe this hardware is enough for the upgrade:
Is this correct?

the z230 was never designed for video cards like the nvidia 2070 that pull over 200 watts,. and due to its non ATX standard power supply your options are limited
the cheapest option is to use a adapter to convert the motherboards 18 pin socket to the ATX standard and then use a high quality NAME BRAND ATX "single rail v2.3/v2.4 power supply of 600/700 watts such as enermax/corsair any current supply should meet the requirements .
avoid the older supplies that are not ATX v2.3 or later current spec revision is atx v2.4 as i recall)
total wattage depends on what you have connected to the system in drives/ram/cpu wattage and if overclocking
the second option is to use a 5.25 addon power supply to power the card/drives
also, workstation related questions have a better chance of a useful reply if posted in the workstation forum
