Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Updated the Z4 graphics card toa Radeon RX580 8g and at first the monitor wouldnt turn on. When we shifted the new card to the old card slot , the system boots up and the power button starts flashing red

We have ordered a 6 to 8 pin cable for new card but what are we doing wrong

!!Never power up a graphics card that has PCIe connector headers without connecting the appropriate PCIe  power by way of cables and connectors !!

 

The flashing red is an extreme warning.

You may be overloading the PSU and risking damage to the motherboard.

 

Remove the card and hope it isn't too late to correct the issue.
