HP Recommended

It looks easy to replace a broken LCM Panel (see disassembly manual https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07953828.pdf)

 

Is there a list of compatible 40” panels that can be used? I have found some Asian suppliers who sell the original panel, but is it possible to use a better one (if the size and connections fit) if you have to replace the panel anyway?
