Product: HP Z420
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old Z420 that has been running Plex for 8 years. I need to upgrade to another mobo since the processor isnt supported by Win11 (XEON). Can a standard ATX mobo fit this case?

if you visit the business forum you will see that many people have installed a modified windows 11 on the z x20 and x40 lines of workstations which no longer has the TPM/CPU check

 

many use the tool "rufus" to create a windows 11 usb key installer

(from the official MS-11  ISO) that bypasses the above checks

 

 

there are also several methods to do a in place upgrade from windows 10 to the latest win 11 v22H2 release
