Hello Everyone,
I'm currently using an HP Z440 Workstation and decided to upgrade from an older SSD to an NVMe M2 drive. I purchased an NVMe drive from AliExpress, along with a Z Turbo Drive G2. After waiting for about two weeks, I installed the NVMe into slot 5, as recommended by HP. However, upon turning on the PC, I noticed that the BIOS does not recognize the drive. I've tried adjusting some settings in the BIOS setup, but still no luck.
Can anyone offer some advice or troubleshooting tips?
Thank you!

I have never had an issue with the HP Turbo Drive. Are you running an old BIOS? I think there were some issues with the older BIOSs. Before anything else try another PCI Slot. If you have another NVME try that.
I got this from PCGamers.com on YouTube:
RESOLUTION TO FIX BLACK SCREEN HANGS GOING FORWARD: -Download and install BIOS 2.20 or higher. From there follow the below directions a. Press F10 to enter into BIOS Settings b. Select Advanced c. Select Device Configuration d. Select PCIe Training Reset; change from Disable to Enable. e. Save settings and restart
The original document is not for your specific use case but PC Gamers use case may be similar. It looks like HP took the original document down.
You might want to try and buy another adapter. I once got one from a guy in China that was missing the retaining screw and it didn't work. I bought one PC Server Parts on eBay (actually I have bought at least 2 from them) and it worked fine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/174684807294?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=uSLmA-UYRpq&sss...
Good luck.
