HP declined to sell me a replacement part

HP Recommended
HP envy all-in-one 27-b0X14
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a problem with the fan in my All-in-one PC (My PC is out of warranty.)

I reached out to HP to purchase the part.

HP declined to sell the piece unless I pay $330 + taxes in repairs.

This is a piece I can replace my self and being without warranty will be my risk if I do any damage to the PC.

The HP portal lists the part "part 908433-001 fan" as being used by more than 200 HP products, somehow is impossible to find the part.

But after the chat with a representative, I realized HP DO have the part just not willing to sell it unless you pay their repairing cost.

I'm an electronic engineer and I know how simple the task is.

This is an abusive behavior from HP to hold onto the replacement parts to charge whatever they want in repair charges.

i sure is and common with most OEM PC.

get it off ebay or amazon,  is some times best./ (rare)

did you clean it first and the radiator fins first.

it might be fully good as most are. just  full of lint.

this 908433-001, at HP parts surfer shows used on 200 PC's.

but your model is not correct.

27-box14 is not right.

HP ENVY 27-B014 AIO PC  (this?

Yes, it's call cornering the market, you control de supply and can charge the price you want.

It's a text book abusive behavior.

Looking fwd to comply with consumer bureau.
