Can I upgrade from  the 1tb ssd currently installed at the m2-slot to using a 2tb ssd on my hp pavilion( tg01-2035no), and what do I need to consider in terms of compability, apart from the ssd to fit in the m2 slot?

You can replace the currently installed M.2 SSD with a 2TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD.

The maximum storage capacity currently is up to 4TB.

PCIe® NVMe™ M.2  are  the compatibility specifications.

I recommend Samsung M.2 SSD products for their latency and reliability.
