Can I install an MVMe SSD in the M.2 slot to use as a boot drive?

Thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To get the answer to this question, An M.2 NVMe drive requires UEFI boot drivers that not every motherboard has. There may be BIOS updates from your motherboard that will include an NVMe driver.

NOTE: HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
