Hard DIsk Failure Code

HP Recommended
Slim Desktop 410-010
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer won't boot up. I ran the diagnostic and got a failure ID. How can I find out what it means? Is my hard disk dead?

@TerryD2 , welcome to the forum.

What is the failure code?  I will try to find out what it means.  I believe it may be telling you that your hard drive has failed.  Once I have the code I will try to help your further.

We gave up and bought a new computer, but I'd still be interested in knowing what the fail ID means. It is (I'm not sure if the O are zeros or Os. Why would they use them?): UOFO9-87TASV-PXPB61-60CRO3.

Thank you for the additional information, @TerryD2!

The app that I use for error codes didn't tell me any more than what we already know.  However, I still believe that it was a failed hard drive.  These error codes are not meant to be read by we mere mortals.  I don't have any idea why they do what they do.  Enjoy your new computer.
