HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-0000i (8BG56AV)

After several days of my D drive "disappearing" from File Explorer, I ran boot up diagnostics which shows a hard disk failure on my second drive. There are no logs available - that screen is entirely blank. I do have a 24 digit alphanumeric code, however.

When I try to contact HP via the "Contact HP Support," I am only given the option to see authorized repair centers. Problem number one, NO WAY am I taking my computer to the Geek Squad. Problem number two, the only other repair center listed states that since I am still under warranty, I have to start with HP.

WHY are there no phone numbers to call for tech support? HOW IN THE HELL do you initiate a warranty repair ticket? This is absolutely the WORST customer support experience I've ever had.

OH and all of this is conveniently before my warranty expires in 12 days. Good job making it impossible to contact anyone in support and letting the warranty run out and then, well, guess it is just a "me problem."

Does anyone know how to get an actual person on the phone for warranty repairs?!

I have never had a reason to call, so I really don't know.

I can ask a Moderator to  assist in connecting you with a team at HP who can help you.   Done! Request made.

Since today is Sunday, be aware this may take a day or so.

Both of these options send me into an endless loop of being taken to a screen with no options or being told to contact an

HP authorized repair service, and per my previous note, that doesn't work for a warranty repair.Screenshot 2023-06-04 141201.png

Thanks! I was able to get support on the phone by going through "Check Warranty" and got it taken care of.

Your help is greatly appreciated!
