Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My pc wouldn’t boot correctly so I ran a system check and got the following failure ID for my hard drive: Q0efpa-81dag2-wptx61-60su03. I haven’t been able to look it up and was wondering if anyone could share any info on that specific error. I don’t know if it’s bad connectors or a fault with the drive itself.

@Rs2ish,

It is time to replace the boot device. Your so vague I can not suggest a solution path without knowing the exact model number. DO NOT state the serial number.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

It’s an HP Envy model 750-114, intel i5 6400 @2.7 hz running windows 10. I tried to start it up but it gave me a “preparing automatic repair” screen then just stayed in a black screen. So I turned it off and turned it back on to run a system check. Then I got the aforementioned failure ID for my hard drive on the short dst test. I ran an extensive test on my drive to confirm and got the same failure ID. I tried looking up the failure ID but couldn’t find any answer or explanation. I’m trying to figure out if my hard drive needs replacing or if there’s any way to salvage it.
