HP ENVY Phoenix 860VX Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Everyone,

Over the last month or so, sometimes my mouse and keyboard just quit working so I have to manually power down and reboot.  Well, the last time I did that, after I put in my password it just sits there spinning.  Ran some diagnostics and get this failure code on the hard drive: M0F0Q3-83FAG8-QFFX6J-60XJ03  It has a "256GB M.2 PCIe (Non-SED) SSD" hard drive.  Anyway to repair this or will the hard drive need to be replaced?  Any chance of recovering files?

Thanks a bunch,

Gary

@ghoot

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to windows.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

It looks like a hard drive is gone bad and needs replacement. You need to check with a local tech to recover the data on the hard drive. I recommend you contact support and they will assist you with the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

P.S: Welcome to the HP Support Community 😊
